Hi ladies - thank you for posting all this helpful information. I am going to see Dr. Menassian later this month bc I just had a ectopic that caused my tube to rupture (yikes!). Previously I was going to RSI (Wayne) and I LOVED them & Dr. Sobel (now at Abington), but under the advise of my surgeon and since I conceived naturally - big surprise - she felt that Dr. M might be able to better help me.

Jolie, is that just bloodwork? If so, I'm pretty sure he will if you feel it may be a concern! I forget if did that for me.. there was SO much bloodwork, so he might have as a given!

~ TTC # 1 ~ After 18-month forced break Cycle 1, Sept. ~ Clomid - BFN Cycle 2, Oct. ~ trying natural due to vacation Right Now ~ Waiting... AF or BFP?? Cycle 3's Plan, Nov: Follistim, Trigger, IUI, Progesterone
Jolie -Dr. M leaves no stone un turned. He will check your thyroid level and many other things with blood work.
Trip the cat- Good luck to you. I have been seeing Dr. M for over a year now. I did 2 rounds of clomid with no success, then I did 2 rounds of Follistim. The first one was unsuccessful but the sesond round was a huge success and I recieved my first ever BFP. I am happy to say (for the first time on here)that I am now 14 weeks and 3 days preggo and Dh and I couldn't be happier and Dr. M was extremely happy for us. Dr. M and the girls are great and when you are ttc they monitor you very closely with bloodwork and ultrasounds. They really are great. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
Trip- I forgot to tell you that his office is only 30 -40 minutes from you. I live in gilbertsville and it takes me about 40-45. Just to give you an idea.
Peggy! Congrats to you! I should be starting my first round of Follistim w/ Dr. M soon. Hope it's just as successful for me as it was for you! I grew up in P-town but live in R-ford, so we're practically neighbors :-)
Dr. M is so great and you're right, very thorough + all the nurses are awesome!
~ Angela

Angela Grace. Yeah we do live right around the corner from one another. I actually work in R-ford. I am hoping that you are just as succeddful as I am . Keep me posted on your progress.
baby dust to you!!!
Hi Peggy, Angela and Jolie - have you ever heard of the IVF protocol that uses femera and fsh? I've been looking up stuff to ask Dr. M and I came across a bunch of articles and adverts for ivf studies. Also, I got my first post surgery period today!!!

Congrats on AF! Did it come naturally? I remember my first non-induced AF (after 7 mos on Met and I was happy that my body was doing something right, but ticked that it happened on our drive to vacation - ha!)
Dr. M appreciates a patient who does some research and has questions about different options, so good to come prepated. As far as Femera, when I brought it up to Dr. M, he explained why he didn't favor it, as opposed to other meds. Not sayin that he wouldn't Rx is at all (I'm not sure) but for me, I agreed that I wasn't going that route.
GL,
Angela

Hey Angela, - Af did show up on its own which is why I was so happy I really didn't want to relive all those provera cycles. I guess the glucophage XR helped me along, its what made me regular before.
