I can totally relate to what you are going through. I also have severe male pattern balding and excess facial hair. I wish I could show you a picture of me, so you can see your not alone. PCOS is absolutely dreadful and mentally painful for all of us who suffer from it. I take Zoloft for my depression but everytime I look in the mirror and see my bald head I get this overwhelming sense of sadness. I can not afford a wig so I wear hats and sometimes (not often) I do go out "natural". I get so many looks from people but I try to keep my head held high and remember its what is inside that matters. You are not alone, please remember that. I'm always here if you need me. Dx~PCOS in 2004 (finally!!)
Symptoms~~Obesity, Severe Hairloss (top of my head), Excessive Facial and Body Hair, Acne, GERD, High Blood Pressure, Type II Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, Depression, Anxiety, Etc.
Medications~~Metformin 2000mg, Byetta, Synthroid, Zocor, Zoloft, and many others
