Talking It works!!!

Hey!!
I posted on the 4th of Mar. saying I had been on met for 8 weeks and that nothing had happened yet but that I was starting to get lots of CM and acne.

Well...I got an AF on the 17th of Mar!!! A normal one that was moderately heavy with cramps and all..(not like provera which I didn't even notice). So Yay!!! It seems to have worked for me in 10 weeks with what looks to have been an ovulation! I am on CD 8 right now and hoping for the best this month!

My question is this: Did most ladies find that their cycles became pretty standard or should I be prepared for a long cycle? I have started charting again would love some input!

Thanks
Henrietta

I have been on met for the past two years, and my cycles have been normal. Every twenty eight days. My periods were not very long on met. they only lasted for four days.
Hope this helps

Since I've been on met. I get AF every 32-33 days regularly.
Hope everything works out with you!!

I have been on met for over a year now and my cycles are still far from normal. Some months 32 days but for the last two they have been over 37 - but she always shows which has never happened before so I am not complaining.
Good Luck!!!

Thanks for the input!!

I would be so happy if my cycle was from 28-35 days as long as I do O. For someone who hasn't O'd in 6 months that would be amazing!!
I was just worried that this might be a fluke and that I may end up with a 3 month cycle next....

Patiently hoping for the best,
Henrietta

After a year or so, my cycles shortened. My periods are now about every 34 days and last 4 days...and are WAAAAAAAAAY less heavy than they have ever been. And the menses darkens really fast.

You may have some longer cycles on met, especially at the beginning and particularly if you are on spiro for hair growth ( i took that drug for 5 weeks but quit because it wreaked havoc with my periods). Here is what my periods have looked like to give you an idea:

*Started Met in August 2001*

2001: Oct 10, Nov 25, Dec 26.

2002: Feb 28, Apr 8, May 10, July 14. Aug 17, Sept 18, Oct 22, Nov 22 (took spiro here until Dec 28: Quit becuase i wanted to regain my menses).

2003: Jan 7, Feb 13, March 18.

Hope it helps!
