Let me tell you something, Melly. Most of the side effects can be improved greatly by paying attention to diet. If you eat to control your insulin, you will greatly improve how the meds work and the side effects. Same with slow dosing.,..if you dose up gradually, women tend to have a really positve experience.
I did things backwards from the beginning, because I didn't kniow any better..my doc started me at 1500 mg and I refused to change my diet and I suffered for over a year on the met. When I started doing the IR diet, my side effects disappeared overnight..I kid you not. I will never underestimate he lifestyle changes and I wish I had done it from the beginning.
Even with all of the trouble I had with side effects, I can still say this was SO worth it. If you start off regulating your diet and exercise and dosing up slowly you can avoid what i did and make it even more positive an experience for yourself.
All the best!
