Default worsening LH:FSH ratios?

Well, I finally put off my procrastinating and requested all of my medical records from all the doctors I'd seen in the past five years or so (I'd been bouncing around from practice to practice quite a bit).

Now that I have the actual records, the one thing that I notice is that my LH:FSH ratios have been becoming more elevated over time.

4.5 years ago, the ratio was 1.75:1
2.5 years ago, the ratio was 2.5:1
A little over a year ago, the ratio was 3:1
4 months ago, the ratio was 4.63:1

I know that different labs have different sensitivities and results, and all of these tests were run by different labs since I've been bouncing from practice to practice... But because the worsening is consistent, it definitely looks like there is more going on than just lab differences.

But I'm wondering about the worsening LH:FSH ratios. What could they mean? What can help improve them? What sort of questions should I be asking the doctor when I go in later this month?

Have you been eating healthy/exercising in the past years? Because if not it could be very well be due to a pcos-unhealthy lifestyle..

What I do know about over the years worsening ratios, is that it's the opposite in ladies who are getting closer to menopause. They start to get normal cycles all of a sudden because the lh:fsh ratio becomes normalized due to lowering estrogen levels (or something like it - I may not make perfect sense to you).

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me can provide you with some sensible answers!
