Sorry if this is too many pics, I'm just so excited that the walls are finally done! Of course, DH still has to do the touchup around the baseboards but oh well....the stencil is done though!

Thanks everyone, I'm so excited that it's done! This weekend we're hanging what we can on the walls as well as putting the ceiling fan up. I got this cool remote w/ it b/c the ceilings are 10 ft high and there was no way I was gonna climb a ladder every time I wanted to change the settings so I made DH buy a remote!
I seriously would live in the room too, it totally is what I wanted when I was little and never got! I even told DH that I was going to convince Aimee that she wanted a canopy bed when the time came b/c I never got one
Now if only all this paperwork would get done so we'd be closer to actually going to get her I'd be much happier....

Thanks Amy! That door is actually the closet door. I painted it the same way on the back of the room door (DH wouldn't let me do the front of the door)
Here's the bedding:
It's Gossamer Wings by Kid's Line, Inc. We bought it at Babies 'R Us a couple weeks ago b/c we just couldn't pass it up! Now we just have to pick out some furniture for it!
The wainscotting was a pain! It's not the wainscotting that was really a pain, it was the chair rail that was more of a pain b/c apparently our walls aren't really square! We have a wall that comes out rather than goes in (it's an out angle rather than an in corner) and that wall was the worst to get the chair rail to look right! We also put new baseboards in there as well since the ones throughout the house are the short ones and we needed something bigger in there. Those baseboards will eventually be throughout the house.

Strawberree you snuck in on me! The room has been painted for over a year (we've owned our house for almost 2 years and it was the 1st room we painted). Painting it wasn't bad except for our textured walls sucking in the paint and then there were little spots where the paint didn't take so we had to do a couple coats! The stencil really didn't take that long and I didn't do it the way that most ppl do stencils on the wall. I drew it on the wall and then went one at a time and painted each one w/ the basic colors and then went one at a time and designed each bug. It took about 6hrs to draw and 1st coat it and then another 4 hrs to design them. It took me a little longer than usual b/c I had never done it before and b/c our textured walls were making the stencils look funny so I had to fix them!
