Default WOW!!! 1st treatment...

Hi Ladies,

I just want to share with you my 1st treatment of laser hair removal. Had it done today, it was a bit painful but SO TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!! I too have to shave every morning, my entire face and by the afternoon I would look like a MAN! I have fair skin and very, very thick facial hair. Finally I decided to try it. I am so glad I am going throgh with it, because my face feels so smooth and clear...

I am interested in having this done as well. Did you have any reaction after? How often do you have to have it done?

I go for my 2nd treatment on June 27th... It is really worth it. I have only done 1 treatment and every morning I look in the mirror and I am so pleased. I still have hair, but not alot like before. I used to shave every day with a 5 oclock shadow... Now I shave 2 or 3 times a week. It was a bit painful, and the only reaction I had was my face a little red that day. I will probably do 5 or 6 traetments, which is about 6-8 weeks apart.

All I can say is Go for it!!!!

Hi Rosalina,

Which company are you using. I went to a consult today with American Laser Center but after reading all the reviews I am afraid of going with them. They got very BAD reviews. HELP!!! Thanks!

Hi Joel4ever,
I actually go to Enhance Treatment... They work in the same office as my GYN. They are very good and only charge $120 per session. Keep searching, and totally go for it. I can't wait to see the results on my 2nd treatment!

Congrats Rosalina!

I am a LHR advocate myself! For years I have suffered with the worst hair growth you'd ever want to see! Yikes! I have had several LHR sessions. Many of them were unsuccessful because they were using the wrong laser! I have finally found the right people to do the job and it took a year to completely see results. I have a few hairs left, but they don't nearly compare to the dense growth I've had since the age of 16!

I still have some discolored skin from the shaving and a few dark spots, but I am overall pleased. I no longer flinch when my SO goes to touch my face. I let him go for it! Today I am wearing NO MAKE-UP for the first time since I discovered make-up in my 20's. I think I am almost there! The laser tech has even noticed that I have lost a few pounds! I didn't realize it until someone else pointed it out. I think I dropped the weight of shaving, make-up and worrying about someone looking at me because of the obvious appearance of hair on my face and feeling unfeminine.

If you can do it at some point, I highly recommend laser hair removal. It will change your life.

P.S. You will definitely save more time in the shower! LOL!

One more thing...

In NYC where I live, American Laser has taken over some companies who folded during this poor economy. They took over Lite Touch Laser who was already lousy. Clients who had previously paid for packages at LTL and other centers were promised that AL would fulfill those packages and have yet to the services honored by American Laser! I guess they are too big for their britches!

Either try a dermatologist or find a spa who offers the same treatment/lasers as the derm.

Hey KimberlyMillions,
That is so funny that you mentioned you have lost weight...ME TOO!!! Before my 1st laser treatment I hated to go outside for walks and now I go everyday for a walk. Since my face is so smooth and not much hair, I can actually look at people and not feel like they are starring at me... I cant wait until the day I can stop wearing all that make-up...
