Default Wrong baby grow!!!!

Now that I am feeling a bit better about my sister in law's pregnancy I actually ventured in the baby section in Peacocks this morning while trying to buy some summer shoes.

Oh my God.

In the new born section was a pink baby grow for a new born baby with the word

'Dudes dig me'

written over the chest.

Is it me or is that slightly wrong?

my mum is gourgous (saw that today)

I think this is totally wrong. A simple slogan like that isnt meant for babies! What ever happened to dungarees and flowery dresses? Now kids are to have sleazy slogans scrolled accross their chest? Children should be dressed LIKE children, not some desperate teenager who wants attention!

It depends on the way you look at it, dudes dig me could translate into father, brother, uncle, grandfather etc ... dig me. It doesn’t have to have a sleazy under tone to it. Would it be more acceptable for it to say "chicks dig me" because you feel it takes out the paedophile aspect ?

I dunno, I hate seeing babies in stuff liek that, i like baby clothes for babies! Why do they need slogans on them? Give me little dresses on girls n dungarees on boys any days!

Also! TRacksuits/football strips on babies infuriate me:| Rant over

i quite like some of the slogans but obviously not that one! I do think its a little sad buying a baby stuff on about my mum's gorgeous etc when you are the mum. I'm gonna buy my baby some grows for when i go to see my parents which say stuff like..."If you think i'm crazy you should see my grandad!" Its for the look on the grandparents face really.

I don't mind football stuff having just bought some, its more of a joke in our house because we are a 2 football team household so there will be who is the quickest to dress the child wins!

Most of it is harmless fun, but i don't like derogatory ones especially with young girls.

Caz

P.S My friend bough baby a velour tracksuit the other day which is really cute but i told her not to buy it anymore chav clothes!

The worst thing I've bought for my niece was a star wars baby grow but I don't find stuff with questionable slogans on suitable for kids.

I saw one in brighton once that made my toes curl (although it was quite funny) saying

'IVF BABY. My dad's a wanker'
