 X post: Interesting observation from DD
My DD has PCOS which is what brought me to this board in the first place. I've since put the puzzle pieces together and found that I have too, but in a much milder form.
But, about a year ago I was diagnosed first with chronic fatigue syndrome then fibromyalgia.
Here't the part I'm interested in. DD belongs to an e-mail teen forum for PCOS and has found quite a few of the PCOS teens have mother's with fibromyalgia. I was wondering how many here have a mom, aunt, grandmother with fibro. Seems an interesting coincidence. My thoughts are that they are still, definitely 2 different conditions, but that some inheirited gene might cause both.
