Hi ladies! I just wanted to share some exciting news. Some dear friends of mine are starring in a documentary on lesbian parenting and gay adoption. I wanted to spread the word and encourage people to tune in. The film will air on the Canadian cable news channel CBC Newsworld on "The Lens" on:
Tuesday, December 4th at 10pm and 1am Eastern (7pm and 10pm Pacific) and
Saturday, December 8th at 11pmEST and 2amEST (8pmPST and 11pmPST).
They are a wonderful, loving couple who, when they decided they wanted to start a family, faced a lot of tough roadblocks. The film follows them from the start with fertility treatments and hesitation from the medical community to treat a gay couple, through the adoption process that was hampered by homophobic/bureaucratic red tape and all the way to a successful adoption.
We're so excited! CBC Newsworld has also posted some info about the film on their website.

There's also a clip on youtube:
Please cysters! Tell friends, family, coworkers, community organizations and anyone else you think might be interested in this topic to watch the film and support the important cause of same-sex couples having the right to become loving adoptive parents in Quebec and the rest of Canada.
My friends and I thank you very much!!
