Hi...I'm a nurse with PCOS.. my doc recently prescribed gluc xr and the first 2 nites I took it I felt drained and weak and muscle achy...got an enormous fear of lactic acidosis so I stopped... have been doing more research and have read these posts and now have the guts to go back on it and give it a real good try....thanks

That's great! I love Met! My Dr has checked my liver enzymes twice and they have been fine. I'm not a drinker so I don't worry about it too much.

I just know that I'm ovulating for the 1st time in abour 15 years and I would hate to not be able to take my Met!
