Default Yasmin

I've only been on Yasmin for the past month but it is terrible.
I'm constantly having stomach pains and fatigue as well as comfort problems when I'm trying to sleep.
I've also done some research online and found that Yasmin isn't as wonderful as it is made out to be.
Anyone else been prescribed Yasmin? Was your reaction bad or good?

Smile yasmin

Ive been on yasmin 4 months. I have had good results with it, I feel my cramps are lessened, my body hair is finer, and lighter, and my skin looks pretty good.

The only big thing was the first week (especially the first night) I was sick to my stomach really bad and felt nautious, and dizzy. I was thinking I would give it a week, since I hadnt been on any birth control pills before, and figured my body needed to adjust.

After a week I felt better, and now I dont notice anything,

Maybe you should ask you doctor to try another brand if you feel yasmin is still not for you. Have u tried Yaz? I dont know much about it, just that it is smilar to yasmin, if you are wanting the same positive side effects as yasmin claims to give. (help for ladies with acne, excess body hair, etc.)

I felt like screaming last night/this morning and my DH was running around trying to figure out how to make me feel better, and at about 3 am this morning, we decided that I'm going to stop taking Yasmin.

Especially he saw some personal stories online about how Yasmin had caused severe health problems after a few years of a PCOS patient being on it.

Maybe it's just me but my reaction to it is very uncomfortable/ borderline painful.
I was thinking of asking my doctor about metformin since everything I've read about it so far has been positive outcomes.

I just finished my first cycle on AF last week. I agree, I had more pain and discomfort for that cycle, than previously. I am on Yasmin for 2-3 cycles depending on how my insides are settling down from an ectopic removal. I also notice my face breaking out with one or two pimples at the beginning of each pack. I go back to the dr after this pack is finished so I hope that she will say I can stop.

As for Metformin, I had pain and heavy bleeding for the 2 cycles I took it. I was only taking 500 mg. You might want to read the Metformin threads on here. I have seen mixed reviews.
