They should. I was on Yasmin for 6 years. Got off last year to TTC and I gained 50 lbs in 9 months! I just went back on Yasmin this Saturday to get this PCOS regulated and loose weight!

i take yaz, which i'm pretty sure is pretty much the same thing as yasmin, and it has done WONDERS for my skin. my skin was never terrible per se, but before i went on it, i had been starting to break out worse than i ever had before. now, i never ever get pimples, except one or two tiny ones around my period. not only is my skin clear, but the overall appearance of my skin is better than it ever has been, and it's a whole lot less oily too.

yeah, sorry to go on and on, but seriously. i strongly recommend this for your skin. i hope everything turns out well for you!

I was only on Yasmin for two months (my periods are really light in the first place, and being lighter because of BC= OMGITCH </tmi>), but I really noticed a difference in my skin. Without it, I am once again an oil slick. Alas.

I was on Yasmin for about four years and it helped with both. I have a hard time keep my weight steady, but with Yasmin that wasn't a problem. I managed to lose about 10 lbs. on it, but plateaued. To be honest though, I wasn't really working hard at the weight loss.

As for the skin, it helped a lot. No major break outs, but the acne never totally went away. I've always had some pimples and some scars.

Earlier this year I decided to stop Yasmin because I want a more holistic approach. Yasmin was a good place to start for me, but it wasn't treating the underlying cause so I've moved on.
