yasmin and insulin test

If i take yasmin when I get insulin test done, can it skew my results?

I read somewhere the the progestin in Yasmin/Yaz doesn't cause or influence insulin resistance like some of the other bcps out there. I was on bcps for my last insulin/glucose test. My RE doesn't seem to be too concerned with the bcps. Maybe it has to be an extreme case to make a difference...
