Yasmin has absolutely no androgenic side effects, and can in fact slow the growth of unwanted hair. Apparently the type of progesterone that it has in it will lower testosterone more so than any other BCP.
I got pg on it twice and I know alot of other ones that have too. But, I also know of several on here that take it and do fine on it. I guess it just depends on your system. I also got pg on two different types too though. Good luck. I think I am going to try Ovcon 35.

I took it for just over a year-didn't notice any side effects, but wasn't dx'd yet. Started breakthrough bleeding on it (but I've had that with every brand) and my new dr switched me to OvCon 50...

cool to know about yasmin. I have been on bcp patch (ortho evra) and it's been great aside from the fact that I can't get the darn thing to stay on for the whole week that it's supposed to. Because of this I've decided to go back on the pill. My appointment is on the 28th of this month. I'm going to ask to be put on Yasmin. Thanks cysters.

Thanks for the answers. I've been too busy with DS to check back until now! OB put me on it until we are certain of when to start trying again because we originally thought we would try again immediately, but OB wants a little longer healing time. So...that said, if I would happen to get pg on it, it wouldn't be the worst thing that every happened to us
