Yasmin, still no period on 5th inactive pill

I've been on Yasmin for about 4 months, and I always start my period within 3 days of taking the inactive pills.

A couple of weeks ago, I missed a pill and didn't realize it until later the next day, close to the next dose, so I skipped it, but I still had sex with my boyfriend during this time.

And now I'm at the end of the pill cycle and only have very light spotting on day 5 of inactive pills... nothing at all like my regular periods.

So, of course I'm worried I could be pregnant, but the information booklet that comes with Yasmin says missing only one pill shouldn't matter?? Could this be possible?

I have been on Yasmin for a little over a year and this is the first month that I didn't have a period. I took some antibiotics towards the beginning on the pack, so I am thinking that is what may have caused me to skip my period. All I had was some light spotting. I know I am not pregnant. To answer your question, I wouldn't completely rule out pregnancy, but I would say that it is not likely. Usually, just missing one pill shouldn't be a problem. If you don't get your period in the next couple of days you might want to take a pregnancy test. However, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If you don't get your period next month, then you might to look into the possibility of being pregnant.

today I woke up to very light bleeding that I am hoping will get heavier, I have my fingers crossed

Don't wanna be the cause of panic but I got preg while takin' Yasmin & I took EVERY pill on time so it is possible...but remember there are LOTS of reasons for not gettin' af sometimes...good luck!

I found while on Yasmin that my AF would come on the 6th or 7th day and go on into my next pack.
