I'm going to finish this pack and then call next week. This is really getting old. Let me know how the new ones work.

You all are scaring me! I am on week 2 of my first pack. No spotting but I have not had AF since early February so i am not looking forward to the end of this pack.

Well the nurse acted surprised that I was bleeding so much, she said it is a good pill, so I hope you do not have any problems.

I just started getting migraines right at the 2 weeks mark on the Yaz. Did any of you get them while on Yaz? I just posted a seperate post about it too.

I had migranes the entire 3 months I was on Yaz. I HATED every minute I was on it. I was taking it between my IUI's to supress my hormones. It made me sick & so very, very emotional. I felt like I had constant PMS for 3 months. I'll never use it again.

I just have to weigh in here....I just started Yaz. Not liking it at all...I feel like I am biting everyone's head off, on the edge, I am breaking out, have dull headaches every few days, and I just plain feel yucky. I am going to finish this pack of pills and then switch to Yasmin....I was on that for 2 weeks a while ago (while I was on fertility meds) and I liked it WAY better. Yasmin gave me no side effects. I can't wait to be done!!!

Gals,

These bcps are dangerous!! If you can get PCOS relief from topical estrogen/progesterone creams, I highly recommend it over synthetic hormones. I took Yaz for one month, my blood pressure spiked (common side effect of synthetic estrogen). So for fear of having a stroke, my gyn pulled me off of it. I'm in week 2 of the 3-6 month dread shed that comes from stopping estrogen!! Losing 50+ per day and was losing less than 20 per day prior. It's miserable and so ironic since the only reason I was taking it was for hair loss.

I'm now on the mini-pill, synthetic progesterone. When the hair loss stabilizes, I'll switch to natural progesterone cream.

So how are you ladies doing now? Are you both on something else?

I have 2 more pills left in my pack and have been spotting for 5 days now. This sucks! No other issues though, even the migraines stopped.

Started Lo-estrin Sunday night. Still bleeding. I know it takes a few days. I'm so ready for it to stop. This has been going on for almost 5 weeks.

To be TMI..are you actually bleeding or more of spotting? Mine is bright red but more spotting. Always there when I wipe and a little on a pantyliner. Nothing more than that yet. Also is that how you started?

A little heavier than that with some clots. It's been like that pretty much the entire time. Some days a liner is enough, some days not. And you know how it doesn't matter where you put the liner, it's never quite the right spot.
