I dont know what yaz has in it but I do know that yasmin has something in it that is helpful with the hairloss. It is something made from spirolactone.

yaz and yasmin are essentially the same, except yasmin has more estrogen. They both have a progestin which is good for hairloss. Its pretty much what you think you would do better on. My body seems to like less estrogen (and less side effects) so I'm taking yaz. I am also suffering from hairloss. I've been on yaz one month and my hair isn't falling out nearly as much...
