Default yaz and breakthrough bleeding

Any one have this issue with YAZ?? This is my second week and I have had non stop bleeding and cramping. I am almost ready to give up. I was hoping that this would be a good pill. But it seems I have had a period for 2 weeks now!

I've been on Yaz for about 5 months - and had that happen last month, but I was taking antibiotics at the time and my doctor thinks that thats what caused it since it hasnt happened before...

Default problems with yaz

I'm currently on my 3rd month of yaz, and I've been having problems with it, my most recent pd started on the last day of the placebos and lasted for about a week, the one before that started when it was supposed to but lasted for about 18 days... I have yet to go to my gyno because they are always busy because it's the only woman's clinic in town. keep me updated on what happens with you, if they put you on any other meds or anything because I'd like to know

I have been reading and it says that it should regulate within 3 months. I took them for about a year with no problems got off of them for about 5 months and got back on them this month to induce af so that I could ttc. I started having breakthrough bleeding now for 7 days. Started halfway through the pack and now I only have 3 of the active pills left and I am not sure if I will be able to ttc due to this.

I started Yaz 2 weeks ago (started first day of AF), and I have had bleeding every day. The first 7 or 8 days was clearly AF, but now it's just light breakthrough bleeding. I was wondering who else has had this experience and if it goes away after a few months of taking Yaz. About 5 years ago, I took a progesterone-only BCP while breastfeeding my first child, and I bled every day for 3 to 4 months. I finally called my OB/GYN's office and was told that constant bleeding happens with some women and that I should stop taking them. I know it's only been two weeks, but I fear that I'm going to end up with constant bleeding for months on end. Any insight?

I'm taking Yasmin and it does the same thing. It usually lasts about a month when you first start.

I had breakthrough bleeding for the whole first month on Yasmin, I didn't do yaz. I'm currently on Ortho-tri-cyclen-lo.
