Question YAZ - New Birth Control Pill

Just curious if anyone has tried this out or started it? It's supposed to relieve PMS and clear up acne amoung other things. It just came out so I might be asking this too soon. I did a search on this and nothing came up, so if someone already posted this, I apologize. But, Just wondering. Thanks!

Are you talking about Yasmin? I've been taking that for a few months now and am very happy with it. Before I was diagnosed in August, my skin went crazy and I gained 15 pounds. My skin is now clear, my PMS symptoms are practically nonexistent (my husband is so grateful!), and my weight evened out. It was recommended by my doctor because PCOSers make too much testosterone and Yasmin is an estrogen only pill so it balances us out. Good luck, hope this helps!

Default Not Yasmin!

It's not yasmin. I was on yasmin for years. This is a new pill just called YAZ. My skin was clear at first with yasmin and then the 3rd year I started getting acne. So I stopped taking it. My skin is clear again. I get like that with every pill though.

Same thing has happened with me on Yasmin....controlled acne for about 3 years and now it has stopped. I read that YAZ is a lower dose of Yasmin and has been shown to help treat Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder also.
