Default Yaz and periods.

I'm on my second month on yaz right now and I'm having an issue.

I started my first pack last month, everything was fine, I got to the last white pills and my period started as it should, it lasted a week! I've never had a period last that long. .anyway when I started the next pack, my period ended and was gone for exactly one week, then came back!? Now I've have had my second period this month for 5 days now.

Has this happened to anyone? Is it normal?

My gyno told me to stay on Yaz for 3 months before I threw in the towel. I had to quit after 6 weeks because I was bleeding so much, so if you're just having light to normal bleeding, your body is just trying to adjust. It should be gone by the third pack. On the other hand, if you're having a lot of bleeding and passing clots, you may want to stop before your iron gets too low. I'm not trying to worry you, just letting you know my experience. In my opinion, I think Bayer Pharmaceuticals needed to do more thorough testing of that pill.

This is currently happening to me! I've been on Yaz for about a month now and I just started my 2nd pack...but I'm still having my period. Its been a week and my period has been horrible! I have had the worst pelvic pain and have been passing a ton of clots with this period. I'm crossing my fingers that my period will end here soon! I've never had a period last this long either so I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one experiencing this with Yaz. I guess it takes a few months for the body to get used to the hormones....but either way its a pain. =(
