Yaz Plus Possible Weight Gain
On Metformin 1,000 mg once a day in July of 2007 also was put on Yasmin and lost about 45 pounds. Then last year July 2008 switched to Yaz and lost about 10 lbs in the past year. About 2 months ago Dr. increased Metformin to 1,500 mg but it was not made a big difference. I am still 50-60 lbs overweight. Then two weeks did not refill my Yaz prescription on time and lost 5 pounds in a couple of days. I am back on the Yaz and have gained the 5 pounds back.
Has anyone else had this experience that when not on Yaz they lost weight? I am wondering if the Yaz is making it hard for me to loss weight. |
