I've never had a yeast infection before but I suspect I have one. I'm itchy and having some nasty discharge. Does it go away on it's own? How can I know if it is a yeast infection? Advice please!

I have had 2 yeast infections. Sounds like you could have one. First off all, it will be really itchy and the discharge will be white, cottage cheese-like. It's really disgusting and it smells.
You can get some over the counter meds for it. Try monistat and you can get gynecort for the itching. It helps. Will take up to about a week to clear.
