Default Yeast, yeast everywhere

I have been having alot of problems with yeast infections for the majority of the year and I am sick of them. The doctors have had me try everything and it seems to clear up for a few weeks to only turn around and start up again. I was talking to a friend of mine the other day and she suggested me taking a warm bath with baking soda and that it could soothe some. I did and I think it was the wrong thing to do. I feel like I have a rash that is growing bigger and bigger all over my body. I tried to get it off my skin afterwards while taking a shower and when the water hit my skin I felt like I was on fire. I cant get into my clinic until monday and I think im gonna go crazy. What can I do. I am so misrable. Could it be the yeast growing into a bigger infection. On my hands I have red patches that have unevenness to them not like a complete circle like most would be a few hours later it is doubled in size. The only comfort I have found is I doubled up on my zertec. I dont have a way to reach my regular doctor and I dont want to go to the ER for something dumb like this. Any help would be highly Appreciated.

Default Yeast overgrowth

Tattered Angel.

I saw your post and just feel so bad for you. I recently had to take antibiotics and I am prone to yeast infections anyhow, so within hours I was itching. I cant even imagine the hell you must be going through, you poor thing! I used to get a yeast infection every month right before my period, and seemed to be having digestive problems way too often. I began looking into alternative remedies because Monistat didnt really seem to help me. I started taking candida clear which has Oregano oil, Pau D'Arco, Black Walnut and Caprylic Acid plus Biotin, Magnesium, Wormwood herb, Cats Claw root, Garlic and Olive Leaf extract, which are all supposed to help balance the good and bad bacteria. I also take an additional Olive Leaf supplement, Grapefruit Seed extract, Collodial Silver, Beta Carotene (Vitamin A), Biotin, Zinc, Ester-C, a digestive Emsyme complex and an Acidopholous plus complex. It has really helped me so far. I also make sure to get plenty of fiber & limit my sugar and refined starch intake
(I switched to whole grains and brown rice) and eat lost of healty yogurt (not Yoplait or Dannon) I like the Mountain High or Cascade brands because they have no added sugar or preservatives. These changes have made a marked difference for me. So far aside from when I had to take the antibiotics, I havent had any problems. I wish you speedy recovery and relief!

Default Candidiasis

Hello,

I am starting to research the link between candidiasis and PCOS. The reason I started to look beyond PCOS treatments is because I do not want to be medicated and suggested diet and supplementation did not bring the results that I am seeking. The other factor is my 'acne'. The appearance is different than acne. It is localized and is very weepy.

I would suggest that you look up some of the symptoms that have been linked to candidiasis - hormonal imbalances and yeast infections are definitely symptoms. You might be suprised at how many of these symptoms match up to yours.

Apparently 89% of Americans are affected by candidiasis in one form or another which is not suprising since we ingest so many antibiotics in meat, dairy and prescriptions.

I am currently doing a candida cleanse (yeast cleanse). I'll keep you posted on how its going.

Default cure for yeast

I don't know if it is too late to post a reply as the thread was started in 2004! But if it may be of help, type 'yeast' in the search bar of www.prevention.com
Go to the natural remedies section and read the part about boric acid capsules. It's amazing.

If your yeast infections also bring about UTI's, do a search in Google with the following combinations:
natural remedies AND uva ursi
natural remedies AND goldenseal.

Also www.nativeremedies.com has a UTIclear product that is supposed to be good.

I have not used any of the above, just found out about them, and will use the above remedies if either problem recurs.
