Default Yes, It's me!!!!

Hi All (hug, hug)

I know it's been forever since I last posted but I'm sure you'll forgive me when I say that I am now settled in very cold Delaware, U.S.A.

I'm about to run out of Metformin, so I suppose it's time to go and find or persuade a new Endo. that I need it. Still no sign of pregnancy but with the stress of leaving my country it's expected.

The first thing I did is log on and check to see how Deeds is doing ... DEEDS WOOO HOOOOO, YOU'VE DONE IT THIS TIME GIRLIE!!!!

Promise to now post regularly ... especially as I am job seeking and housewife duties suck!!!

So good to see you back. I knew you were moving in the Autumn and wasn't sure if you'd check in or not, I'm so pleased you have.

I'm doing great, can you believe I'm on maternity leave already! I can't believe it myself and junior is kicking for Britain.

You'll need to let us know how the move went and how you're settling in. It must be a total culture shock, but I'm sure you'll get there. As for Met, they seem more able to prescribe in the US, hope you don't have any problems with that.

Glad we'll see more of you!
Lots of love

Maternity leave!!! blimey Deeds!!

I am so thrilled for you, you deserve this more than anyone else I know (including me! ... but if God is reading this I would just like to say next year for me would be fine )

Have you chosen any names? Have you been brave enough to decorate a nursery and get all those cute, soft, tiny things?

Are things between your parents and your sister any better? Oooh so many questions! Put your feet up with a nice glass of cold healthy milk (I'll take the coffee) and catch me up on all that's been happening!

The move for us only had a few hiccups and our furniture arrived with only one breakage, which I was really pleased about. Only just finished unpacking, I've kept myself as busy as possible but I'm running out of things to do inside This means I will have to face the reality that we are here!

The culture shock is immense! I'm surprised my just how much, Bruce and I have been married now for 3 years and we have visited the U.S many times in the past (to visit his family) but it feels so totally different knowing that this is my home now.

He bought me a brand new truck two days after we arrived, he's trying really hard to get me to like the place. I think that me bursting into tears every time I unwrapped something that my English family had got us or discovering photo's of them has unsettled him

On the plus side I think that once the homesickness settles a little and I'm feeling more confident it's going to be great! We get all the seasons here and we have beautiful beaches not far from here too. I'm sure my family will be over as soon as they can

Hi Lisa
Well, I'm glad your move went well. I'm sure you will settle in soon, it's a case of being brave and getting out there. You will be fine.
You're bound to miss home and family, but I'm sure they will all visit, what a good excuse for a holiday!

We have almost finished the nursery and bought stuff (baby Gap keeps having sales, how can I resist!) DH is dragging his feet a bit, not sure if it's really sunk in. Once baby arrives he'll be great (and a house husband when I go back to work!!!) We haven't got names yet because we can't agree! Ah well, it may just have to get a number till we decide - you'd think that 4 years after starting ttc we'd have agreed on something!

Things are just as bad with my sister. She hasn't even acknowledged I'm pg. She ont contact any of us, so I wrote her a note saying that I would leave her to it and when she was ready to contact me she knew where to find me. Mum and Dad are coming to us for Christmas, so hopefully they will enjoy the day, although it will be hard for them after all they've been through this year.

Anyway - so good to hear from you. It will be your turn next year I know it!

Hope you feel more settled soon, keep posting here - we'll remind you of home!
Love
Deeds
