Question yes, those are my hairy legs :(

I ve had excessive hair growth since i can remember. I loved swimming when i was young but due to excessive pubic hair i could no longer wear a bathing suite. The hair kept getting darker and coarser. From my toes to my upper legs, belly, arms, face, etc. Well everywhere hair can grow. My skin is very sensitive so everything from shaving, waxing, creams leave sever razor burns, rash, ingrown hairs and very painful. I have to let my hair grow out for weeks before i attempt to try removing my hair again. Oh and having sex with my boyfriend never happens because i need to plan my shaving in order to not be hairy or go through the pain and the physical booboos. Im so sad that i cant be free to wear shorts or a bathing suite etc. I just want to know what i can can do. I dont feel like a women but ms. bigfoot

Epilating has done wonders for me, but you would probably want to try it on a small patch of skin first if you have sensitive skin.
Also, I know its a cliche, but your boyfriend isn't going to care about how much hair you have when he's having sex with you. Mine certainly doesn't, and neither have my previous sexual partners. The only person that is truely bothered by it is me.

If you are paranoid in the sheets with your bf because you are hairy It doesn't make it a fun experience. You are always thinking about it... The Whole time... No matter if he doesn't care or not... Its just a part of being uncomfortable with our hairyness. So i understand what you are saying. I use something with like four blades or even a mans shaving razor and always use shaving gel if not shaving gel... i like oil of olay body soap because its really makes your skin soft... or if you are in a pinch try conditioner to shave with. And it makes it easier to shave when you have soaked in the bath for awhile or even been in the shower for awhile. I hope you find something that works for you. Best of luck to you!

I have a Braun one, and I love it!

If you have it in the budget for a session or two of laser, that might be enough to get the hair down to manageable amounts. I'm having a big birthday this year, and one of my presents to myself was to get my lower legs lasered. I'm so glad I did.

In the current economy, you might be able to find some great package deals on laser.

Thanks ladies, heres the low down. Ive got very sensitive skin, I find if i use mens razors, special shaving cream and alot of what you posted but most of the time since my hair is sooooooooo coarse it feels like im shaving sand paper. It ends up really red and i guess its ingrown hair but it looks like i get white heads. I knowq there not pimples but thats the best example i can give. It feels like when a guy shaves and then grows back but its really rough and scratchy. Try getting freaky with that feeling. I pretty much live pay cheque to pay cheque anything over $100 is way out there. What about meds or herbal therapies, no bc its not good for my mood disorder.

As I see it, for quite a lot of us with PCOS, we basically have the same pattern of hair growth and the same sort of hair as men do. Obviously we can't know what it feels like when a guy shaves, but I would imagine that for those of us who have male-type hair growth it would feel much the same.

Hi there. I have the body hair growth, but as I get older it is more in check. Because my PCOS is in check. Yet when I had extreme IR, I cut all my hair off my head and it wouldnt grow. It thinned really bad. After I got my IR under control with metaformin. By head hair started growing. My body hair decreased a bit. I am part Italian,Irish, Native American and Black, so I was a bit hairy to begin with. Yet, right now I have to shave under arms every day, shave legs every 2 days. My pubic hair is course and unruly. I have tried shaving it. It grows back worse. With me, the balance of my hormones, BCP's and shaving is a art. That I have to keep on top of.

I get my eyebrows and lip waxed. I had my lower legs waxed and it lasted a week. So I rather not spend the money. I have never tried waxing my pubic hair. I am to chicken. Good luck to you.
