Hi everyone!
My name is Rhonda. We have been trying for 15 years to get pregnant. I was finally diagnosed 2 years ago with PCOS, another dr couldn't see it especially after 2 miscarriages. My periods are now regular thanks to losing 60lbs. I am ovulating nearly the same time each month. I will feel pains on one side and then 5 days latter there is a tiny bit of spotting, is that normal? Does that mean I did ovulate?
I don't want to have to go on clomid unless I have to. I am going to give it till the first of the year or March before I see an OB/GYN.
I can't wait to learn more and gain the strength I need to get through this again and hopefully obtain a successful pregnancy. A bit nervous since I am 35 but hopefully the weight loss will help.
I have had, oh can't remember the name of the procedure to check to see if the tubes are open and they are. It was all due to lack of ovulation and totally irregular periods.
Thanks for listening. I can use all the help I can and support. I am nervous about another miscarriage but hopefully things will change since my body has.
Welcome! This is such a wonderful site, full of alot of information and very helpful women. We ttc for over 10years with and without fertility medication. I had 4 losses but finally gave birth to twins , without the use of fertility meds. I am now ttc a sibling for them and had to start back up on clomid because I am now innovulatory. I will only have 1 or 2 natural cycles a year if that. I think after reading many of the stories here you won't be so scared to do clomid. The clomid/met combo is like a miracle drug for women with pcos. That is what my Dr. says welcome aboard!

I also conceived on metformin, and continued to take it in pregnancy to help decrease my risk of m/c. Hope this helps
I do spot sometimes around the time I ovulate, and also have some "twinging" pain sometimes. When I was ttc I learned to check ovulation signs (cervix, cervical mucus, BBT) If you'd like any more info I'll be glad to help if I can.
Hugs and lots of babydust
Jenny
