Hi...diagnosed today. Glad I got the diagnosis, not glad I'm dealing with this carp. (nor the fact that anyone else has to, either.) I'm in WV, and even as backwards as this state can be sometimes, I was actually able to get answers pretty quick like and my doctor was very informative and quick about testing and meds. i start metformin tonight...woo. runny poo poos here i come!
Welcome! I am glad at least you got diagnosed fast and properly. A lot of us me included had to stand on our head and see many drs before one would diagnose us. You picked the right place the girls on here know so much and are so great. Whenever you have a question or think you are alone come on here and you will know you are never alone and there is always going through or has gone through the same things. i'm a cat mom too! LOL..i have three..wild ones...anywho...i was finishing my doctor's sentences today about PCOS and all involved. he was a bit shocked. all due to myspace pages and info i googled about it..go me, go me! LOL i have ibs issues, probably tmi, but oh well, so i'm used to runny poos, so i'm really not all that worried about the meds and my tummy. i just want my hair back! its so thin and its driving me nuts! hubby and i are also excited to ttc within a few months, but i have to get some of this weight off, even with met, so pray for me!

i try to avoid greasy/fatty/sugar foods as much as poss with met. And ALWAYS eat with it.
