Default Yet another Provera issue.

I was prescribed the usual 10 days of Provera to bring on AF, with the ultimate goal of an HSG test. Huge AF started on Sept 24 & lasted 5 days, which is normal for me. Long story, short - my doc got called away on an emergency that day, so the HSG test never happened on October 2. A week passed with normal discharge, then discharge turned to brown for about a week. Today, Oct 14, I've apparently started another period. My periods have never come this close together, so is this a side effect of Provera? Has anyone experienced this? It's starting to stress me out. Thanks for the help.
