if there is a possibility of pg should i wait until i take a pg test before starting vitex? or is it safe to take vitex while pg?

You can not take vitex while preg. So yes definately take a test before starting it.

so now for the possibly obvious question:

does it hurt to take vitex in the early weeks of pg, before it shows on a test? what if you've been taking it and then get pg?

I was taking vitex daily and didn't find out I was pg until 6 1/2 weeks. I called a holistic medicine person and they said I would be fine, just to stop since I had the +hpt.
So don't worry!!
