We've exchanged contracts and will be completing on the 27th!!! I'm delighted...really thought it wasn't going to happen. Now it's time to really panic because we've a house to pack up in a week! We have some done, but not much! EEK!
Congratulations, you are moving on the same day as me, I never thought mine would be sorted. We exchanged yesterday. Where do you live/ moving to? I wonder if we are in the same chain as it's an odd day to move.

It's a 1960's three bed semi. Nothing too special I suppose, but we'll have much more room than we currently have. Since we've had Dara we are bulging out of this house. Lounge and dining room are knocked into one big room with a conservatory at the back off the dining room, so it seems really spacious. Nice kitchen. Good garden space. Perfect for a little one!

Sounds nice... a perfect family house! You have a week or so to pack up your house then! Better get going! That will be good exercise, all that lifting.. you will just melt away!
Good luck for the move... I remember when we completed on our house... went to pick up the keys and drove to the house straight away, and the previous owners were still in it!!! They said they werent going until the next day! We were thinking.. er... wtf.... its OUR house now! They wouldnt leave the house even though it was legally ours by that point; the estate agent was no use and just told us to call the police but I didnt want to get into that... In the end we compromised and they were out by midnight. Didnt help the stress levels!!!
Lets hope yours is pretty stress free!

OMG! I think I'd have to kick them out myself! Hopefully we won't have problems like that as they'll be away on holiday when we take possession of the house next Thursday! Yippee!
