Cool You all have probably heard of this book already but . . . .

"a patient's guide to pcos; understanding and reversing polycystic ovarian syndrome" by Walter Futterweit, M.D. I found this book at the local "Borders" you can probably find it at "Barnes and Noble" as well. I only bought it last night and i cannot put it down it has so much information in it, things like causes, diets, exercise programs, and conception and pregnancy.

Smile Dr. Vliet's book

Hi Sara,

I have heard of Dr. Futterweit's book, but have not read it yet. Does the book go over oral contraceptive therapies and natural/supplement recommendations?

Dr. Vliet's new book, The Saavy Woman's Guide to PCOS is really good. She has several ones in the Saavy Guide Series. Her book, Screaming to Be Heard is fabulous!

Have you ever heard of d-chiro-inositol? It was used in clinical trials to treat PCOS. It is also known as INS-1.

Take Care! -Shannon

I just received that book along with Savvy guide to PCOS by Elizabeth Vliet, and Taking Charge of Your Fertility. The Savvy guide to PCOS is fabulous. Great book. Can't say enough good things about it!
