Wow, they are excited about sprouting. I have a sprouting tray, and have a sprouting mix that has several different types of seeds (I have only put them on my green salads), but now I am excited to try the wheat. I tried sprouting quinoa, but it spoiled too fast, maybe I need to get in the fridge sooner.
Do you mostly eat it raw, or do you cook it when you add it to the cereal? Do you eat your nuts raw? I have a friend who told me that raw almonds need to be soaked before eating, because they have an enzyme inhibitor, that soaking rinses away.
This friend sometimes puts almonds, and flax, and sesame in her green smoothies, and she let me try it, and it was pretty good. But she can do that because she has the "Champ" blender (similar to the vitamix) and it will grind seeds/grains. I would love to do that too. Do you grind your own seeds and nuts?
I was Dx'd with MS in 06, so I felt an urgent need to get my mercury fillings out right away.
It was really interesting; I had learned that there is mercury poison in the amalgam fillings about a year before that, and added mercury removal to my list of thing I would like to do to improve my health (when I could afford it).
Then one day as I was searching the net, I found the website of a lady who had been Dx'd with MS (and other health problems) who improved dramatically after getting her mercury fillings removed. She had the info of the biological dentist in Mexico who did her work.
And then, a few months later, my MS symptoms started, and I was Dx'd. It was like the Lord had been preparing me so I would know what I needed to do once I got my MS Dx. (I did some additional research, too)
I went to the biological dentist in Mexico to have the work done. Taking the trip to Mexico, and having the dental work done, was less expensive than having the work done by a local biological dentist. And we got to make a family vacation out of it.
I am still nursing, too. I guess that's another reason I am not planning to do that liver cleanse anytime soon.

We all go through our trials...I went through three years of it before we finally had a sticky pregnancy. I know many others on this board that have gone through a lot of crap to have a baby. Try to stay positive and keep chugging forward. That's all you can do.

I hope you all had a nice Mother's Day.
Our ward gave ALL the RS sisters (all current AND future Mothers) a bag of M&Ms, and then the primary children each got a red rose to give to their Moms.
Do your wards give anything to the RS sisters on Mother's Day?

My Mood: Points: 62,510.75 Bank: 618,292.51 Total Points: 680,803.26 | Hello to all my LDS Cysters! I have some GREAT news to share. Well Dan & I arrived @ the RE's office @ 10am. We waited about 15min & into the sono/ultrasound room we went. My RE did the sono himself (he has 2 sonogram techs too, but the 1st sono is always done by him). Dan held my hand & I swear he rubbed my skin raw on the top of my hand! LOL I know we both were a bit nervous, but we just kept looking into each others eyes & silently praying. When he turned the sono screen towards us, we were all eyes! The PG dates @ 7wks 5days (just a little ahead). Ok, so when he turned the screen our way, we could instantly see TWO sacs & TWO beating hearts!! I'm so gosh darn excited!! TWO babies inside!! Multiples again...I really can't believe it... Even my RE was over the moon excited for us! His office will set up my PERI appt. RE wants me to follow up with him ASAP. He is recomending a Cerclage inserted around week 12 of PG. I told him if he had not recomended it, I would have demanded it due to the Pre Term Labor, Incomp Cervix, Premature Rupture of membranes with the triplets.....Dan & I are just praying, praying that this PG sticks for 34wks!!!! For twins 34-37wks is FULL TERM. Ladies, thanks for your continued prayers & positive thoughts. Heavenly Father truly has blessed us once again. I just pray my body cooperates. Dan surpised me with plane tix to Utah.....we leave Monday the 19th & return on the 25th! I'm going to see my only sister (2yrs older than myself). I miss her so much & miss the beautiful mountains in Provo. Love to you all!

I am 37, Steve is 50, we are ttc. In the midst of lots of tests.
I have been lurking around here for a few days and finally decided to register today. I had been on previous boards where everyone seemed to attack everyone, so I am cautious about what I join nowdays.
I am glad to see there are other LDS ladies here... |

We went to a carnival yesterday, for Pioneer Day, and my DH asked me if we saw his home teaching families if he could count it as a visit.
How is everyone else? I hope you all are having a nice summer (for those in the norhtern hemisphere.) Jade, I hope you are having a nice winter.
