Question You Mean Walmart doesn't have the cure for Acne?

Well, am asking because I'm currently a full-time college student and unemployed, though I hope to change that next semester. And so I can't afford a lot of these new things that everyone else is doing for their acne. I shop at walmart a lot when I do go shopping and was wondering since they have everything but the cure for PCOS if they at least had some products that may treat the conditions of this cystic acne? If not, does anyone know of a cost-efficient product which may be easy on the skin without drying it out?

I use the Acne Free brand cleanser that I found at the Walmart for about $5. It's pretty much the generic brand of Proactive, only I actually like it better, because the cleanser foams and I feel cleaner! It keeps my skin pretty clear, along with the Walmart brand acne cream (with 10 percent benzoyl peroxide), that's like $2.

They also sell the Acne Free 3-piece and 5-piece sets, which are about $20. I've never used them, but they are supposed to be the same as Proactive. Actually the box claims it's "four times as fast as Proactive", so maybe it's worth a try!

I know that $15 on a bar of soap sounds like a lot, but it works and lasts up to 3 months (I use it twice a day). It is called ZNP soap. It is kept behind the counter at most pharmacies. No Rx is required, you just have to ask for it. Since you are looking for a product that doesn't dry out your face once daily should do it! The way to make it last longer is keep it in the plastic tray it comes in and remove it from the shower after use so it doesn't soften.

I have tried many other things, my dermatologist suggested I try it and I have been pleased. (Sounds like an info-mercial, sorry)

I use something that is free, in everyone's house and it has literally cleared up any and all cystic acne. It's called urine. I am including the post on it for further reference.

Pee For Acne??

The Acne-Free stuff from Wal-Mart has worked beautifully for me. I haven't resorted to the zinc cream yet. I was having some pretty rough breaking out, but this stuff has really cleared up the acne. Which is good, because I was gettin' pretty depressed already.

Hey, thanks for your response but to be honest, I've tried the Acne Free 5 piece box for $20 and it did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for my cystic acne; so I doubt Proactive will either. I have these terrible clusters around the jawline which spread from my lower left leg to my face. Only thing AcneFree did for me was temporarily relieve me of oily skin for about 20 minutes. lol. Then the oil was back again. Alas, is there no hope?

Well I'm willing to give that a try versus AcneFree again or Proactive...thanks, I'll have to check into that.

Unlike some people, I have actually heard of that before. My ex-hubby used his one day to wash his face and I looked at him like he was insane and casually he said, "what, you've never washed your face with your own pee before?" and I was shocked. So what exactly do you do....just put it in a small bucket or something and use a rag to wash over the acne? I'm curious to know

I'm beyond depressed dear, but I have tried the AcneFree and unfortunately the only thing it did for me was relieve me of my oily skin for about 20 minutes. That's it. The acne yet remains. I even tried the toothpaste for a while, to no change. Nothing seems to work on me.

Yeah, I've not been having such good luck now with the Acne Free now. Granted I'm usually forgetting the 2nd and 3rd steps of the regime though. Feels like my body keeps evolving and morphing, making any attempt to beautify fail.

WE ARE PCOS OF BORG. PREPARE TO BE ASSIMILATED.

What I do is when I go to the bathroom, I take a cottonball, hold it in the stream like a piss test, get it soaked then rub it on my face and anywhere else where I get pimples. Wait 15 min and then I rinse it off. Do this twice a day and it works well for me.
