Default Are you really fertile after an ectopic?

I'm wondering if you get extra fertile after an ectopic, like you would after having a baby?

Thanks

I had an ectopic last November--I would assume you would be extra fertile, but how did they treat the ectopic? If they used methotrexate, you are supposed to use two types of protection (like the pill and condoms) for three months to prevent birth defects. It took about a month for my hcg to go to 0, and another month for the mass by left ovary to dissipate. Then I had an HSG, and there's the three months.
I'm not so sure about surgery.

Hiya, I had the surgery done. At my post op appointment I asked the doctor when I could start trying again and he said after my first cycle, but my periods are so irregular I told him and he said it was okay if I wasn't sore. I am sore so he said two weeks more. It's been a week and I'm no longer sore and my husband and I have beded. I just wonder how fertile I am at this point and if we were to get pregnant would the baby be okay.

Thanks
