| Registered User Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Austin TX ![]() | I got to it too late, They are no longer accepting volunteers. I have been on Metformin for two years and Glyburide for 7. I walk daily. I eat about the same types of food as a non-diabetic. I blame having to feed my family (boyfriend and nephew I raise) on not being able to follow the diabetic diet. I have not been responding to medication for some time. I keep getting higher doses prescribed at DR visits. I feel like giving up
