Life-Altering Events -- National Examiner
The National Examiner, a nationally distributed weekly, is seeking first-person essays about life-changing events. The column pays just $50 for 500-to 600-words, but is valuable exposure for a good story or a worthy cause. Subjects of previous columns that came from ProfNet queries include a woman who left a restaurant job to start a horse rescue group, and an insurance executive who ditched a successful career to become a cabaret singer. Articles must be accompanied by at least one photo.
