Default Your recommendations??

Hello ladies,

I'd like to get one or two books about PCOS (maybe one general and one about PCOS and fertility or dieting). However, there are soooooo many books on the market, I have no clue which one(s) to get.

What would you suggest is a "Must Have"?

TIA

I actually got a stack of books from my library, spent quite some time reading and looking through each one, and then just bought personal copies of the ones that I really thought were the most helpful.

Unfortunately, this was over 5 years ago, so the books I have are not that up-to-date.

If I were you, I would try to find some at the library and then narrow down your choices from there. Sometimes I found that the "popular" books weren't as helpful to me for whatever reason.

Edited to add: I just saw your location and realize that you might not have great library access right now! I will try to look and see if any of the books I have offer updated versions.

Thanks!! We have one library on the base and it's really geared more toward school aged children and teens. :-)

Thumbs up Book Recommendation

I love the suggestions in this book: Natural Solutions to Infertility: How to Increase Your Chances of Conceiving and Preventing Miscarriage.

You can get it at all of the major book retailers online.

It deals with the root cause of infertility in a natural and healing way. Not only is there info on PCOS, but it also covers areas that help men boost their fertility.

Overall a great book and wonderful/positive resource for anyone dealing with fertility issues.

The best one I've ever read (and the only one I've bought) is The New Glucose Revolution: Managing PCOS by Prof. Jennie Brand-Miller. A lot of the content I already knew, but I find its well written and I've often gone back to it to remind myself.
