Does this constitute acne? I get these mothers nearly every week, sometimes 2 at a time, they're rather painful, even to the point of waking me up if I accidently catch one with my finger, ouch! Now I'm going to attempt to upload a pic, lol!

Actually from that pic my top lip is quite hairy, but it's very fine and blonde, the kind of hair that catches the light, is that hirutism (sp)?

I am with you here I am just healing from one on my top lip just for two more to settle in inside my nose. It throbbs. I do not think they are regular pimples. Mine take forever to go away and leave a deep red mark for a few months. I am curious to see if anyone else knows if this is H.S. or a form of acne.

I have always kind of chalked it up to acne, but maybe Im wrong. I have been riddled with acne that never goes away. I have been to dermatologists but nothing really works. Anyways, I occasionally get those bad boys, so I have just decided they are HUGE pimples......

They are cystic acne ( as if with PCOS we need any more cysts plaguing us) the ones on the left side of my nose are almost gone but a new one is starting on the right side. And they are inside of my nose and oh so tender feels like razor blades in there.

Oh yeah after looking it up online one of the causes of the acne is hormones. Great
