I have a zit on my face that wont go away
Anyone else have one that wont go away???
Or Anyone who used to??

How long has it been there? Sometimes if I get a cyst like spot on my chin it won't go away for at least a month! I recommend using something with tea tree oil in though, that always seems to help me.

Dx: Still working on being diagnosed. First discovered PCOS 2 years ago aged 20.
Sx: Irregular periods, persistant acne, weight gain (not excessive), hirsutism. As a result, very low self esteem, but working on fixing this! My cousin has also recently been diagnosed.
Action: Taking BCP Dianette for my skin. Taking up running and eating a healthy diet to ease symptoms. Trying to stay positive!
Has it turned into a cyst? I often get what starts out as a normal pimple that end up sticking around and turning into a cyst. They can stay for weeks! I get them injected with kenalog (cortisone). It sounds awful but it works wonders..within a couple of days its completely gone.

A cyst is like a hard lump under the skin that doesn't come to a head, it's still a type of spot though and it's nothing to worry about. I get cystic acne on my chin and they can take months to go away, it's a pain! I use a tea tree face wash and spot stick from the body shop, which seem to help me.
