OMG... will someone PLEASE tell me that this "pizza face" of mine will go away in a few weeks... Please!
My pimples hurt too, just to add insult to injury.
I guess that's what I get for not having any tummy issues with the metformin eh?

The diarrhea is only there when I eat something bad.
But now I get PMS-y acne on my chin! Granted, I've always had acne, but this is definitely PMS. Which I've never experienced because my hormones were whacked out. And these are huge, painful, cyst-like acne (just a few/month, though).

You know... I am finding a sisterhood on these boards unlike anything I thought I'd find.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy you have pimples... I'm just relieved to read about people who are going through the same thing I am.
I NEVER had bad skin as a teenager. Ever. Lucky me, it's coming back to me in spades as an adult. I'm embarrassed by it, and it just seems like the more I do to combat it the worse it gets. I even bought one of those Igia Pore Sucker things. (don't waste your money -- they don't work, and if you leave it in one spot for more than a milisecond, you get a mini-hicky.)
My 3yr old has asked me at least once every day for the past week "Mommy, do you have chicken pox???" :o
Fun... lol

Woo Hoo!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I never had acne until I hit about 20 and now I do My grandmother is always complaining about my face and how I need to take better care.. if only it was that easy. Some people just don't get it!

I'm in the same boat -- acne just started up at the first of the year. I am trying Evening Primrose Oil... havent seen dramatic results yet, but havent been taking them long.
** passes the St. Ives Clear Pore Cleanser with tea tree oil to the next pimply cyster **
it also took me 3 months of met before my acne cleared, i even went to a dermatologist because my acne were so big and painful but even those ointments and creams didnt help, it cleared my itself after taking met for 3 months, just keep taking your medications and sooner or later it will clear out. good luck!

metformin 1000mg 2x a day
I agree with stormyrain. Just blew 25 buckaroos on some ointment from an arrogant male derm and now I will just get bangs and wait for 3 mos to be up. LMAO
redconnecticut - your post totally reminded me of a Bridget Jones diary entry, made me laugh.
Have any of you ladies tried Proactive? I broke down @ work one day @ work & my (then) boss lady told me about it & actually gave me a 2 month suppy she had b/c she didn't use it EVERY day.
I remember comming out of the bathroom... I was upset because I had these awful "cyst like" pimples deep in my cheeks... I was like... You know I can deal with this hair on my face... I'm used to it, ya know? But I CAN'T deal with this nasty mess on my face... They HURT!! What am I going to do? She said I'll bring you some stuff I've been using... It was Proactive... I have been using it ever since & WON'T STOP!!
I don't know about yall but I get (I guess) black heads & white head between my legs some too... & under my arms (& my skin is like yellow & weird) I know it's yuck, but I do... I think it's because I'm over weight & my legs & arms rub. Anyway...
The "monthly kit" has Scrub, Toner, & REPAIRING Lotion. The repairing lotion makes your skin SO healthly looking... It like smooths the skin out so fresh & smooth... Hard to describe! I put some between my legs & under my arms & it does the SAME!!! Now there is alot of "damage" with this yellowing BUT my DH & I both can tell a 60% @ least diffrence when I've been applying it!! The good thing is you need so little for your face there is always enough to use the lotion on other troublesome skin spots. The bad thing is, it will bleach some fabrics... Like cotton undies & cotton sheets... I learned the hard way...
It's 45.90 total (w/ shipping) & it's shipps to you automaticly every 2 months... If you use a check to place your 1st order they just send you a bill with the shipment... Credit card orders are auto charged every other month...
