Well, I've been taking Zoloft for just over two weeks. I think it is working FABULOUSLY! I feel so much less anxious and just "mellow."
However, I think it took some getting used to. I'm pretty sure it gave me some abdominal cramping and diarreah. I also am very thirsty and seem to be a tad sleepier.
But all in all I think it's great and I'm so glad Itried it. I'm supposed to be increasing from 25 mg to 50, but I'm breaking them in half and taking them twice a day instead of taking one all at once because I'm afraid that I'll have to "readjust" to the increase.
Just thought I'd give an update.

I've been taking mine for about three months now. I was started on 100mg straight away but my depression had been there for a while and I refused treatment to begin with {sigh}
I had problems at first; with sleepiness and heartburn and indigestion but now that has all gone. I can't say I'm wonderfully better yet - I can see cracks of myself appearing here and there sometimes but I still think I have a way to go

I took Zoloft for awhile. I LOVED it! It helped me so much with PTSD. I started off with 50mg and two weeks later up to 100mgs. I had NO side effects at all thank goodness.I'm glad it worked for you too!!
I'm glad it's working for you. I had the dry mouth. It also made me sleepier, but in my case it was a good thing. I was such a bad sleeper at night & now I sleep through the night.
Zoloft has really helped me too! I've been taking it for a little over 2 months and I feel so much better. I still have my bad days but I think everybody does. I'm glad it's working for you.
