hey, I'm sorry if this is a redundant question but I'm new to the forum and I haven't found much about this....

but have any of you taken the bcp Zovia (Demulen)?? I just started today; so far it is all that was prescribed to me for pcos, (it's also the first bcp I've ever taken) and I was wondering if any of you are taking it or have taken it and your experiences with it. (pros and cons.)

Also, do any of you know if it is likely to cause weight gain? I'm very worried about that. I know bcp's are different for everyone but I'm still curious.

I'd appreciate any honest responses! Thanks for helping!

well i had taken it a long time ago and i did fine, now that i started it game me really bad headaches and my period arrived a week early so i stoped taking it, but my friend said she had the same thing happen and the next month it was a normal cycle. gotta go my baby is crying. good luck!

hey i took demulen when i was 16 and i went from 134 to 180 in about a year don't mean to disscourage but that is what happend with me good luck,

I used Demulen for nearly 7 years. I didn't have issues with weight gain, however weight isn't an issue for me in general.

I switched to Alesse at the beginning of this year and have found it better. (shorter, lighter and less painful periods, as well as generally better moods)
